Al Manning Magic Books Went Biblical
King David, his son King Solomon, Jesus and other prominent people from history were frequently mention in many Al Manning magic books alongside mythical spirits. As I work my way through the Herculean task (see what I did there?) of rendering all Al G. Manning books published as eBooks, I’m making lots of tiny “digital friendly” edits which require me to “dip and dive” into various pages and paragraphs in all of his works. I’ve already committed myself to re-reading every book I read then read the rest of them.
I’m publishing Al Manning’s “Real Spirit Contact” and I stumbled on the 91st Psalm on pages 17-18. The parallels and examples he drew were as creative as they were insightful. This isn’t the first time I’ve come across such references in Al Manning magic books. In his earliest works, Al frequently referred to Jesus to illustrate the application of certain key principles. Indeed, in a decades-old ESP Lab catalog, a copy of Psalms was listed. How important The Psalms must’ve been to Al is clear. And boy was he right. We’ll take a deep dive into t5he power of Psalms in the future.

Why the Jewish version? This edition is translated directly from Hebrew to English. This gives you a deeper, more powerful experience because it eliminates all the “Lost in Translation” watering down from the original Hebrew then Greek then Latin AND THEN English.
I find Al’s frequent references to Judeo-Christian perspectives a stark contrast to my first teachers Gavin and Yvonne Frost. In my years of studies with The School of Wicca, The Frosts would often take little jabs and digs at Christianity to show different Wicca is and how liberating it is in freeing people from dogmatic ideologies of shame, guilt, etc. More fascinating still is how each of them taught the same principles in very different ways. With styles so different, each imparted knowledge and wisdom that extended far beyond their respective core teachings.
I feel very fortunate to have benefited greatly by learning so much from these masters of their craft and feel it incumbent upon me to do my level best to preserve and proliferate all of this knowledge for generations to come.
